Life goes by, with the blink of an eye!!!

Life- It takes a full lifetime to understand what it is and still we never seem to understand it to its fullest!! People say life is a full length cinema, some say it is a journey and others take it as a path to move on. Whatever name we call it, there is a famous line in hindi which according to me aptly describes life, " Chalti ka naam zindagi!!".

With all tides and ebbs occuring in life, it still moves on. People come, create memories and suddenly disappear. But yes life moves on!!!

You guys must be thinking why I am sounding so depressed and why I am so unhappy with life. Yes, I do hold grievances against life for what it has done to me. Life has been very brutal and unfair to me. It took away from me one of my most precious thing forever, my priced possession,- my KAKU.

My today's article is a tribute to my Kaku, who was not only my uncle but a father figure to me, who loved me as dearly as my Papa and who always stood by me as my father does. Even today it seems like a nightmare to me; we all were leading normal lives, suddenly a cyclone came, took away my Kaku and disrupted the lives of each one of us. I still remember the day- 30th May, 2019- afternoon 3.30pm- when my Kaku called me and we chatted and gossiped on all odd topics as we always did. And then the next day turned out to be a brutal, fatal day. My Kaku got admitted in hospital and was suggested Bypass surgery. I still remember meeting him on 31st May, in hospital and being extremely happy on seeing me. His million dollar smile and the shine in his eyes. Things seemed normal and calm. But it was the peace which comes before storm. Little did I know what was held in fate and then on Sunday when everything seemed fine, he left us for heavenly abode.

I still cant come to terms to what has happened and I feel as though it is a nightmare which will end soon. But as they say, " Life goes by with the blink of an eye!!" Today 1.5 months have passed but it seems as though life is twisting in a roller coaster ride and time has set itself back 1.5 months. People have moved on with time but I feel I am unable to move on. Every night the flashes of hospital nightmares haunt me. I still can't believe and accept what has happened. My Kaku left me with the blink of an eye but I am still not able to move on, holding back to 1.5 months. I know I need to accept his absence but still can't.

Wish I also can move on soon..

Multifaceted World

Hello everyone!! Hope you all are doing well. Monsoon has onset at some places and most areas are still waiting for the spells. Phew, even weather and mother nature are multifaceted, so its raining some places and charring at others.
You guys must be thinking why I chose such weird topic for discussion today when everyone knows that the world is multifaceted. People wear different masks for different people. It's a well known saying in hindi"Rahiman is sansar me bhanti bhanti ke log." I categorically chose to share my views on the same, because I am in direct contact with such people more often these days. I practically live with such people who wear so many masks. They show their true colour on need basis. When they feel that they need some people on their life for their own selfish interest, they are extra sweet to them. They make them feel that they are the most important and integral part of their life and nothing whatsoever can take place in their life without the latter's intervention and help. But once their vested interest is met their so called "blue-eyed person" is no more the candy of their eyes. They use people as tissue papers and dispose them off as garbage in bins. To them the only people important are they themselves. Life is like a chessboard for them and people like pawns whom they can use as per their needs.
Today most of our surroundings consists of such people only; our offices, societies, neighbourhoods and even our own homes. Everyone is playing game for oneself. People now-a-days are like chameleons. They change colour not as per the surroundings but as per their selfish needs. Poor chameleon does this to protect itself, but we humans do this to meet our interest and harm others. But as it is said, life is a full circle, "What goes around, comes around". Karma does bite and when it bites, it bites really really hard!! Such people do have to pay for their sins sooner or later and the payment is very brutal. You lose your self respect, confidence, honor and even yourself. That humiliation is the worst of all. But there was a time when these people played with the lives of others as if they were their pawns, so the payback time is calling them now.

So friends please keep a single face in this multifaceted world else you have to pay for your deeds

The Big Fat Indian Wedding- A luxury or a Necessity!!

Hello everyone! Hope you all are doing well. I am really very sorry for the late update. I know none of the apologies will serve the purpose, but still a sincere sorry to all! Anyways let bygones be bygones, let us discuss a new topic today, the topic with which I may sound melodramatic to you, but believe me this very topic has changed the basis of our society; from simple sombre to a materialistic extravagant one!!!

Decades ago, the wedding used to be such a simple and sober affair. All the family members together would take care of all arrangements; from clothes, ornaments, gift items to even decorating the home. Wedding and all associated events used to take place in home as it was considered a blessing if the bride gets married in her own house. Ladies of the family did haldi and mehandi. Even the wedding meal was made by family members. Each occasion had such a personal touch!! No gala events, no fanfare, just pure wedding rituals. But as time passed this scenario changed. As they say, "Change is the only thing which os constant", even the wedding scenarios have witnessed a paradigm shift; a holistic shift from simplicity to fanfare!!

Now-a-days, wedding is no more a personal affair, it is a platform to showcase your economic stature in society. Event managers have taken the place of family members. A profit generating organization decides how the wedding of two people take place. No family members or traditional rituals involved. Even the rituals have become commercialized. Pre- wedding shoots have become an essential part of this gala platter, the video of which is later shared on social media platforms to gain publicity for the event managers. Each and every event of the wedding is thematized and loads of money is spent on the conceptualization and execution of it. A father earns hard his entire life to give a good life to his kids and here we are wasting his hard earned pennies on events which ruin the essence of the rituals. This extravaganza will be forgotten very soon once another grandeur event takes place! But the money spent is lost for ever!! Dont you guys that all this pomp and pageantry is not necessary for any wedding.

Our Indian rituals are so pure and serene that they themselves thematize any wedding. If our rituals are self reliant then why do we depend on this external materialism to form a part of our marriages?? Why waste money on this when it is not necessary! You keep 150 items in a reception but people eat only 30-40 items, rest all are wasted. Why waste your father's hard earned money on this fanfare? There are parents who are not that well off but just to be a part of this rat race they have to sometimes sacrifice even a part of themselves and run the race or else they will be outcasted.

We are the future of our country. It is we who will take the country on a brighter path. Its high time we take corrective measures and end this circus. What is the need of all this. Let us celebrate the spirit of wedding to its essence understanding the meaning of each ritual. Parents who have extra money, please spend it on the wedding of people who are underprivileged. A grand wedding is just a luxury and not a necessity!!

If I can bring change in mindset of even one person, then the whole idea of this article will be served. So please think about it!!!

Broken Wings!!!

Hello everyone!! Hope all of you are doing good..I won't say sorry for such long break because taking such breaks has now become my habit and saying sorry would just be an excuse which will not suffice for this mistake. Anyway I believe that it is better to be late than never. So here I am today speaking about a new topic, "Broken Wings"!! Surprised why such a name??Well this now is my story as My Wings Are Broken!! I will now I will elaborate on these wings in blog post below
Desires,  Aspirations, Dreams!!!- These are not just three words, These are the basis of human life. Each persons life is a hollow straw without these three traits. Each day you sleep with a dream to achieve something, when you wake up you have the aspiration to fulfill that desire! If these objectives are not there in our life we are as good as non-loving objects because even animals have these traits..

These traits give us wings, wings to fly high, to achieve our aims to live a life as we desire. But not all of us are lucky to have these wings spread across and fly. Some of us have "Broken Wings", wings broken by society, so called societal norms, conditional relationship, family pressures etc.

Broken Wings make us helpless, so much that we feel suffocated. We feel like a prey, who is trapped and cannot live a life of own. We sense enmity all around, coz it's because of these ppl that life took a paradigm shift and the wings got paralyzed.

You guys might feel this post to be skewed  to the negative side of life. So yes it is negatively skewed because you express only that what you are going through. I have Broken Wings, wings broken by these so called societal norms. I was a carefree bird, chirping and spreading happiness all around but this ruthless society took away my wings of happiness and freedom. I am alive but not living, I can't even breathe as per my wish. I feel like living a mortgaged life. And why am I suffering like this, because I subdued to the so called societal pressure??? I have never done any wrong to anyone. Then why am I living a suffocated toxic life with no aim, no love, no belongingness... I had always spread happiness around only to get sorrow in return!!!! But now I can't take this pain anymore. I want to get rid of this suffocation, shed these broken wings and get new wings. I am clueless about the path I should take. Can someone enlighten me?????

GOD- MYTH OR TRUTH

GOD- MYTH OR TRUTH

Shocked or thinking that the writer is Insane because she is writing something which cannot be challenged or proved???

Well I am neither an insane nor challenging the unprovable fact. Coz for majority of people across universe GOD is THE TRUTH; an IRREFUTABLE TRUTH. But some of we writers have this habit of challenging the irrefutable facts based on incidents which have occurred either in our lives or in the lives of people closely associated with us. Certain set of events and incidents which have occurred in the recent past, have left me pondering whether God really exists, is he actually the ephemeral truth or just a myth. I Hindi we say “ Mano to bhagwan, nahi to pathar”, now I actually have started feeling is he really the GOD or only a stone whom we believe in not because of trust but out of fear.

This world is an ensemble of people, good and bad, some who live for others and others who use fellow human beings just to make their selfish ends meet. Once their target is achieved, goals met, they throw aside their prey as if the poor human being is nothing less than a tissue paper. They do not even damn to care about the feelings of their prey. Yes I purposely and categorically use the word prey, because that is what the victimised souls be addressed as. Poor souls do not even realise that all the attention and importance that they are receiving is not because they are good or they hold importance in someone’s lives, but because they are important for achieving some selfish ulterior motive they are completely unaware about. Because their of inherent goodness and belief that GOD DOES GOOD TO THOSE WHO DO GOOD TO OTHERS, they fell victim to such multi-faceted double edged sword individuals and get finally mutilated once their need is over.
If GOD really existed then such injustice would have never happened with the noble people and those who hurt and use others would have been penalised to such extent that even their shadow would fear in doing such deed again to anyone. But no our so called GOD does not do anything and history repeats itself. Some other noble soul falls prey of such selfish and mean people and get vandalised. If GOD really existed then justice would have happened and the ill doer penalised. But no the fact is that ill doer lives the life on his/her terms and conditions, traumatising good people one after the another with not even a pinch of guilt in soul. Why this injustice with us, the good people?? Are we paying for our goodness or for providing a helping hand to all in need???? Is being a good human being a crime?? Is believing in GOD a bane??? We all say GOD will set all equations straight and ALL WILL BE WELL!!!!!!!!!! But neither does GOD do even to all nor does the wrong does gets punished.
Now I seriously neither believe in GOD or THE KARMA…. Both do injustice only to those who believe in them!!! It seems being good and just is a crime in this world… Coz both of them only lead to your insult, humiliation and mockery in the world. If GOD really existed then at least Self Respect of someone would not be made a butt of jokes… Someone would not have become a piece of mockery to such an extent that the person would lose his self-confidence and faith in oneself. If this what GOD is all about and if this is what is reaped off on being good, I wish to get rid of my goodness as soon as possible.

For me and for many people like me, our Self-Respect is more important to us than even our lives. If our GOD cannot protect our self-respect or rather if our GOD is a mute witness of the slaughter of our self-respect, then I DO NOT BELIEVE IN THIS GOD!! THIS IS NOT THE GOD I WAS TAUGHT TO BELIEVE IN SINCE MY CHILDHOOD. When it comes to self-respect and justice, even if GOD needs to prove his existence, then HE HAS TO. He need to punish the wrong doers and set forth an example that if you play with the emotions of someone, the only punishment you deserve is EXTINCTION. Yes extinction, coz such people are a harm to the society. Do we need such people who use people to fulfil their own selfish motives or we need people who wish to serve society selflessly.
I am sure all of us need people who cater to the need to building a society which is for the betterment of mankind; which makes this earth a better place to live. If GOD really exists then he has to help people like us to get justice and get the selfish stock of people eradicated. If this does not happen, and if this selfish bunch of people prospers, I will stick to the title of my piece- “GOD IS A MYTH”.

The Last Leaf!!!

THE LAST LEAF

But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
--Robert Frost

So true are these words said by the great poet Sir Robert Frost. Each passing year makes me believe how true these eternal words are!!!The world remains the same, birds chirp, wind blows, sun shines but we need to move ahead in life. Each passing day posing new challenges, showcasing different arenas, visiting different locations, meeting different people. Each day I wake up with a new vigor, an extra energy to explore new avenues of life!!!
Each day I do new things, I succeed in some, fail in many but still I learn a new lesson in life. I meet new people daily, some of whom I chat with, some of whom I just pass a smile and some I do not even notice. This is not the story of ME but WE. All of us face this situation daily.  All of us face this situation daily. We meet people, forget some but a few become a treasured part of our life; our integral self!!
Each year passes like a Saumur Sault. We face situations which make us learn from it; grow better as human beings. It again depends on us on how we take these situations. We might become strong from it, ready with a new vigor to face new challenges in life. Alternatively, we might get discouraged by these hurdles and take few steps back from our “Karma” path. It is our own view point and willpower which might take us back or forth.
Year 2015 has passed!!! It was a mixed bag of emotions for all of us. Some memories bitter, some sweet, some memorable others disheartening. We met and ensemble of people, did plethora of tasks and faced innumerable obstacles. All these gave us experiences which made us a bit different person in a year. I don’t know what others feel or think but I feel myself a different person by the time I enter 2016.
2015 taught me a lot; how to analyze people and situation, tackle with testing times, overcome sorrow, find joy within you and moreover how to keep the fighter inside you alive. That one spirit if ignited gives you a reason to live and move forward in life. I do not say that every year that comes holds goodies within. But yes it gives us strength to fight all odds and enter the thresholds of new times. For me 2015 was pathetic. All despairs, little hope. But I firmly believe that “When the darkest phase of night comes, dawn is about to spread.” And this hope kept me optimistic to move ahead in life. At the end the dawn showered upon and though the Last Leaf shredded by Autumn it gave a hope that spring is around the corner and life will blossom again.
The Last Leaf of 2015 is over!!! But spring of 2016 is around the corner; Spring of hopes, desires, wishes, friendship, love!!!! I hope 2016 gives us all whatever we wish to achieve in life, to live more, love more. I hope the spring of 2016 be fruitful to all of us. Till then keep the fighter within you alive because I have heard somewhere “Mushkilon ka hal aksar mushkilon se milkar hi milta hai”.
Lastly I am really sorry for not updating the blog since long. I know any excuse is not worth an escape for the mistake done but I really got a bit tied-up in life. I would henceforth try to be regular in updation. Please feel free to share your feedbacks on this piece of work. Your words would help me improvise myself.

Till then keep smiling and spread happiness around!!!

Loads of love,

Women Empowerment!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Women Empowerment

Hello guys? How is everyone doing? Wish you all a very Happy Navratri and a very Happy Dussera too!!

Actually I was in a jinx as to what should I write in my next post and a friend of mine suggested that I should write something on “Women Empowerment” and I thought what could be better than the occasion of Navratri to pen down my thoughts!

Navratri a festival which marks the strength which each and every lady within her! A festival which potrays that how powerful a lady is and how dangerous she can be when it comes to protecting herself and her family!

“Women Empowerment”- the name when read or heard seems very impactful but according to me it has started getting its proper recognition down the line 5-7 years only. 20-30 years ago women were considered inferior to men in each and every field. Many of our mothers were not allowed to study further post 12th standard because a learned lady was considered a taboo in that period, being financially independent was far from approach!! Back in those days the only work of women was to take care of their families. Slowly the world progressed and we saw transition in the thinking of people. Our generation is lucky enough that we got a chance to get a very nice education, motivated for pursuing professional studies and become self-reliant.

There was a time when people were not willing to appoint a female in the organization with a pre-conceived notion that they are incompetent and even if they were appointed, they weren’t paid or treated well.

Today the world has witnessed a paradigm shift in the thinking process. Women are now equally or should I say more competent than men. In each and every sphere of life right from school education, to clearing competitive exams girls have given a tough competition to boys. Whether it is the field of sports, arts, entertainment, politics or aeronautics or businesses, women have made their mark! Sania Mirza, Saina Nehwal, Priyanka Chopra, Hillary Clinton, Sunita Williams, Indra Nooyi the list seems endless, but they have achieved such milestones in life that everyone idolizes them and aspires to follow their footprints. It is due to the contribution of these great women that the world realized the power of Women and bowed their heads in front of Women Empowerment!!! Women have earned their empowerment and the world is now in awe of it!!!

Women Empowerment is not just being equal to men in all spheres of life, it also means empowering ourselves with our strength. Each one of us has that innate power to identify between right and wrong, good and evil; the need is to invoke these traits and to use them for the betterment of humankind.

We should fight against the wrong happening around us, stand with the people who need our support. That would be Women Empowerment in true sense!!! If we get an excellent lifestyle to live but we do not help others to have a sustainable lifestyle; then we are not respecting the opportunities that we have been blessed with. We need to be always ready to take steps to make world a better place to live in.

A woman according to me has always been the cause of revolution in world! From Draupadi, Rani Laxmi Bai, Queen Elizabeth, and Helen Keller each one of them brought a revolution in the era they belonged too. We now need to replicate these steps in the era we live in. We see lot of unjust thing happening around us especially on woman. When a woman is beaten, insulted or abused most of us just keep quiet trying not to be involved in others matter. Why??? Because we feel that by doing us we might end up in trouble or our name might catch up negative publicity. This is very stoop thinking because if one human being will not support another, how would this world be a good place to live in!! Remember what happens with others can happen with us too and then we might feel the pain that others underwent through.

If Draupadi would have kept mum then Mahabharata would never have taken place and this world would not have got rid of evil. She raised her voice and brought a revolution which liberated humankind of all evils and led to the beginning of new era.

We celebrate Navratri to pay homage to Goddess Durga! Goddess Durga was such a strong lady who didn’t think twice to kill demon Mahisasur in order to get earth freed from pains inflicted by him.

We all now have to make a part of Goddess Durga and Iron Lady Draupadi enlightened within us so as to fight all evils. That would give a true empowerment to us and we would feel more proud that we rendered our role as a responsible member of this society.

These are my views on women empowerment. I would appreciate that you too share your views on the same!!!

Till then take care and spread happiness!!!!!
